The Dragonfly Cottage is a mountain sanctuary, offering a peaceful and relaxing get-away destination for travelers looking for an authentic New Mexico experience.  The cottage is centrally located between Albuquerque and Santa Fe, and within a short drive of various mineral hot springs, the wildlife refuge of the Valles Caldera National Preserve and the Bandelier National Monument.

We pamper our guests with cozy and private  acommodations under old cottonwoods  and  majestic cliffs, boasting all the comforts from home.  For you convenience, The Dragonfly Cottage offers a homelike atmosphere, including a fully equipped kitchen, wood buring fireplace, gas grill and a large, redwood deck overlooking the Jemez River valley.

Well-behaved pets are welcome, but must be on a leash when outside and crated when left alone in the cottage.  We respectfully ask that you clean up after your pet(s).

There are many things to do in the Jemez Springs area.  For the active travelers, the choices are endless.  From hiking to mountain biking and rock climbing during the warmer months, to snowshoeing and cross country sking during the winter season.  The Valles Caldera provides pristine landscapes and miles of trails for hiking.  If relaxation is what you seek, there are various natural mineral hot springs in the area to explore and enjoy, or one can read a book while resting on the shaded redwood deck.  For the outdoor sportsman, fishing at Fenton Lake or one of the many streams in the area are just a short drive away.  There is something for everyone while visiting Jemez Springs.
