We loved staying here! The cabin is so comfy and the sound of the river outside is very peaceful. Lots of great star gazing and a fantastic location for all that Jemez has to offer. Would definitely return!
The real standout of this location! Our only regret is that we hadn’t planned enough time to enjoy the view from the backyard (although my son managed to get some stunning pictures of the stars). Nick’s communication as a host was excellent, and everything was as described in the listing.
Peaceful, quiet location. Comfy bed. Gorgeous surroundings, those canyon walls!! Deck over the creek, what a treat. We loved everything about our stay and highly recommend!
Beautiful spot! The views from the windows and property were gorgeous. The place is so close to the town, hot springs, hiking, and fishing spots. Do yourself a favor and book Nick’s place for a quiet, quaint, and relaxing stay.
Beautiful place right on the Jemez River and a view of the red rock cliffs. This is why you go to the Jemez Mountains.
GET DIRECTIONS
From Albuquerque
North on I-25 15 miles to exit 242 at Bernalillo. West on Hwy 550 for 20 miles to San Ysidro. North on Hwy 4 for 18 miles to Jemez Springs. You’ll pass the Jemez Springs Village Limit sign. Continue for 6/10 mile, to a sharp right curve with a 30 mph sign. You’ll be turning left at the right curve, just before mile marker 16. You’ll see our (little) sign at the foot of the drive. If you reach the Village of Jemez Springs (restaurants, shops, etc.) you’ve gone too far!
From Santa Fe
North Hwy 285 for 15 miles, West Hwy 502 for 12 miles, Southwest on Hwy 4 for 45 miles to Jemez Springs. Continue 1 mile south past the post office. Just after mile maker 16 (on your left), the Desert Willow is the next driveway on your right.
